[...] Sarah Palin Under The Bus The interesting question is why. Is this simply to shift blame, or is it a start of a longer game to shift the Republican party away from the religious right? Since she is such a symbol for them I could see that. … [...]

Actually, the status of people who were married is unclear. It will probably effectively be annulled, but until the courts weigh in, no one really knows.

Dumb spell checker. It didn't know inviolate and missed tenet. I kind of like the idea of Homeland Security being a tenant of the administration though. They live in the white house basement and have to mow the lawn.

I... am kind of speechless.

The morphing of the Confederate flag into an Obama-type logo is really freaking me out.

I totally agree. He's so sensible on these issues, both recognizing the scope of the problem while remaining grounded in actually possible solutions rather than pie-in-the-sky miracles.

Hah, I forgot about the Sweden comment. It was so full of crazy that when I was making the post my brain kept jumping from one thing to say to the next. I almost quoted the entire interview. Biden lets the crazy slip from time to time, but next to her he looks like the model of normalcy. After seeing him handle this interview I like him a lot more.
