My great-aunt had a “dollar house” in Indianapolis in the 1980s. Although there it was part of a program to sell distressed houses cheap to people who would then fix them up, not just people who don’t want their houses dumping them on the market.
Oh interesting. That is a pretty cool program. I had not heard of anything like that before.
