I have GOT to remember that for the next time something breaks the odds in real life. Something with a 10% chance of happening is really unlikely something with a one in a million chance is a sure thing. Just awesome.
The first place I saw that idea (one in a million chance == sure thing) was in Terry Pratchett’s Discworld books, years ago. I don’t know if it originated with Pratchett, though.
I could totally see OOTS taking from Pratchett. It has been a running gag with them though. Also with Schlock IIRC.
