Reporters?

Aren’t reporters supposed to report what happened? Bob Novak gets a spot on CNN. I guess they are trying to win some viewership away from Fox. I don’t think that man saw the same debate that I did. Also, in what way is nodding while your opponent speaks a blunder? If he is going to make an opinion like that I would like to know why. Why is that more of a blunder than say ROLLING YOUR EYES when your opponent speaks. “Kerry remains very difficult to decipher on Iraq.” What? They also have this pro Kerry guy Paul Begala, who keeps calling the president “wierd”.

What, does CNN call it a blog, and then decide that it doesn’t need to meet any journalistic standards anymore? I expect this sort of thing from Fox, but from CNN? C’mon guys, show a little integrity.

Update: CNN put a little report card up from the different pundits they have. The kerry guy, the bush guy and the centrist. That makes it pretty obvious where they stand. I really like the 654,000 vote average report card though. Bush gets C’s and Kerry gets an B and an A-. That is the same debate that I saw, not the one from the pundits.

Update2: More on Novak. Salon has a pretty good writeup of who he is. Be sure to read the ending part where it talks about how he blew the cover of the CIA agent wife of someone who was disproving a white house claim about Iraqi WMD. Are he and Begala the two sides of Crossfire? They talk about them engaging in combat on that show.
