We are without a robot…

“Quite obviously we are without a robot… therefore the only solution is to turn one of you into a robot and/or freaky cyborg thing. … I’m told the cyborg operation is a relatively simple procedure, really, where the mostly useless guts and slimy goo of the human body are replaced with the no doubt superior guts and oily goo of a robot.”

“Sir wouldn’t it be better if we didn’t do that instead of doing it?”

“Good thinking Simmons, but no I like the removing the guts thing so I think we stick with that.”

If you aren’t watching RvB you should be. This little tidbit was from Episode 30.

Learn Arabic

In just a few short lessons, learn all the Arabic you need! I just ran across the best site on learning Arabic ever. Now it’s true that all over they have splashed “learn the basics of Iraqi Arabic” so I wasn’t expecting a whole lot, but the do provide a number of helpful phrases, and even a few full sentences. Things like:

sabaah il kheer.

which means good morning and

as-salaamu9 alaykum ikhwaanna.

which means peace be unpon you brothers. But then it quickly moves into the actually useful phrases like:

ihna hnaa muharririin laa muhtalliin. wa laazim nit9aawan suwiyya.

which mean, “We are here as liberators not as occupiers, and we must cooperate with eachother.”

and the ever useful:

akhi ihna jaayiin nfattish il beet. tismahuunna.

“Brother, we are here to search the house. Allow us.”

The internet is a strange and wonderful place.
