Suikoden II
So I just finished up the Iron Chef sub plot. No problem. Iron Chef in a medieval magic game sure. But one of the people just told another person “C’mon, don’t you remember when I gave you that money when your mom got pregnant?” “Oh yeah, you really helped me out back then. Thanks!” Um… My poor brain can only take so much.
But on to the important stuff…
The city states, led by Muse are under attack from Highland, a neighboring empire. Some of the empire disagree with their methods, and form an army to kick Highland out of the city state. Unfortunately it can be difficult. None of the locals trust an external power to come in and benignly solve their problems. “And besides, it should be someone from the city state who defeats highland.”
A silly video game, but interesting insights to modern affairs.
And vampires. Lots of vampires.
